cruise ships reports

It's still a big wish of mine to someday go on a cruise, but unfortunately the financial resources do not allow it.
I will have to take pleasure in ship visits and enjoy the tour on board these ships.
In the meantime, the counter is on 5 cruise ships (AIDAprima, Costa Magica, MSC Splendida, Nautica and ss Rotterdam).

Four ships are still in active service and one ship is already out of service and serves as museum/hotel ship.

In August 2016, the Cruise Days took place. Cruise Travel offer again the opportunity to take a look on board a cruise ship. The locations were the Cruise Terminal Amsterdam (PTA) and the Cruise Terminal in Rotterdam and I had chosen of a visit on Thursday, August 18th, on board of the cruise ship AIDAprima, which was moored in the port of Rotterdam.

During a tour you got the chance to walk along all the facilities and common areas of the ship, pools, lounge, restaurants and some balcony cabins. This cruise ship is really directed at the younger audience with children. It was also, after the tour, a delicious buffet selection offered in the East restaurant.

Some ship details; in service 2016, length 300 meters, 18 decks with 1643 cabins, place for 3300 passengers & number of crew members 900.

Costa Magica

This cruise ship is a regular visitor to the Amsterdam harbor for the cruise season 2017. Today, Wednesday, August 30th, 2017, it was time

to be able to watch on board. This tour and lunch on board were organized by Cruiseriziger and Zeetours.

Costa Magica is a cruise ship for the Costa Crociere cruise line. She debuted in 2004 as a sister ship to Costa Fortuna,

Earlier in 2015, I had seen this cruise ship twice in Rotterdam, after it was deflected by storm from Amsterdam to Rotterdam, but unfortunately I could not on board. But today I was one of 125 invitees aboard for a lunch and tour on this beautiful new cruise ship of MSC Cruises.
